Important Dates

For Summer 2008 Projects:

  • May, 2008 (Next-to-last week of classes) - Arrange a "10 minute" pre-proposal meeting with one of the instructors. Bring a one-page description which defines your project, describes your sponsor and identifies your faculty advisor.

START INTERNSHIP

  • Within two weeks of the start of the internship - email written proposal to one of the instructors.
  • On dates specified in your project timeline - email progress report(s) to one of the instructors.

COMPLETE INTERNSHIP

  • August 12, 2008 - submit final written report, executive summary, and abstract (all electronic files).
  • Orientation week - attend practice presentation sessions.
  • September 24, 2008 - submit final written report (three bound hardcopies).
  • September 24, 2008 - October 1, 2008 - deliver oral presentation.
