Associate Professor of Engineering
Overview
With nearly 30 years of experience launching and managing technology ventures across industries such as electric power, bioscience, biofuels, and chemical recycling, Trent Staats brings a wealth of practical expertise to his teaching. At Dartmouth, he focuses on courses in innovation and entrepreneurship, including ENGS 15.06: Technology Entrepreneurship and ENGM 187: Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He also mentors Master of Engineering Management students, preparing them to excel in careers at the intersection of technology and enterprise.
