Innovation & Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate

Inspired by the PhD Innovation program, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate empowers participants across STEM disciplines to bridge the gap between research and real-world impact.

This certificate program equips students with the skills needed to potentially commercialize their work, translating ideas into marketable solutions and navigating the complexities of bringing them to market.

Eligibility

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate is open to any registered graduate student or postdoctoral researcher at Dartmouth. Participants must receive permission from their principal investigator (PI) or research supervisor.

Requirements

The program consists of two main components. Students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the three required courses and one capstone project.

* ENGG 321 may be taken as either Certificate Coursework or a Qualifying Capstone Project but may not be counted toward both. This course is typically restricted to PhD Innovation Fellows except for extraordinary cases. Instructor permission is required.
