Engineering Program Areas

Dartmouth has six program areas within the engineering sciences designed to allow for collaborative synergies across disciplines. Students are encouraged to chart a path that supports their interests, unconstrained by traditional academic boundaries. Both faculty and students draw from these multiple areas of expertise for maximum human-centered impact.

Graduate and undergraduate degree programs of study are developed based on each student's background and interests in consultation with their faculty advisor. Dartmouth's integrated structure facilitates cross-disciplinary initiatives and supports a wide range of collaborative programs.
