Senior Design Challenge

Senior Design Challenge, is a two-term human centered design course taught Professor Korsunskiy. Students work in multidisciplinary teams, supported by the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning (DCAL), and collaborate with partner organizations to tackle real-world problems. DCAL awarded Korsunskiy and Professor Peter Robbie with the 2018 Apgar Award for Innovation in Teaching for their design and teaching of the course.

In 2019, the student teams partnered with organizations in healthcare, including Pison Technologies, The Women's Health Resource Center, and the Weight & Wellness Center and the Patient Safety Lab at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. DCAL's video series goes behind the scenes of each of these projects to find out more about the projects and student experiences in the course.
