ENGS 164 - Tissue Engineering
Description
This course will provide an overview of the field of Tissue Engineering, focusing on the development of biological constructs to replace, restore, and regenerate tissue. Content will include key concepts related to tissue structure, cellular fate processes, biomaterials, and the large-scale production of tissue engineered scaffolds. This course will incorporate lectures, quizzes, journal articles, and group projects for students to build a strong background in tissue engineering and experience the steps of designing a tissue engineered construct to be moved to market.Prerequisites
