ENGS 11 - The Way Things Work: Sketching to See

Description

Engineered products are so taken for granted as to become almost invisible. This may or may not be a problem. It’s definitely a missed opportunity. Students will be introduced to the refreshingly low-tech, hands-on discipline of sketching. By becoming more familiar with examples of engineering, from small to large, students will improve their observational skills while encouraging them to acknowledge and appreciate their dependence on these things and the thinking behind them.
