Facilities Planning & Operations

The Facilities Planning and Operations team coordinates the construction, maintenance, safety, emergency preparedness, and custodial services of Thayer facilities, which total approximately 320,000 square feet of combined space in Cummings Hall, MacLean Engineering Sciences Center (ESC), and the Engineering and Computer Science Center (ECSC).

Services

  • Interface with Dartmouth Planning Design & Construction (PDC) to plan and execute the maintenance and renovation of existing space as well as the building of new space
  • Interface with Dartmouth Facilities Operations & Management (FO&M) or other outside trades to ensure proper maintenance of Thayer space
  • Manage facilities budget and coordinate prioritization of maintenance and renovation projects
  • Coordinate Thayer safety program
  • Track ownership, use, and transfer of Thayer capital equipment
