Alexis Abramson Starts as Dean of Thayer School of Engineering

The mechanical engineer talks about coming to Dartmouth.

On June 17, Alexis Abramson, a mechanical engineer and a leader in sustainable energy technology, began as dean of Thayer School of Engineering.

“Alexis Abramson brings deep expertise in sustainable energy and in building partnerships that connect academic research with public and private efforts to find solutions to urgent challenges,” says President Philip J. Hanlon ’77.
