Logos

Use these logos for all external and official communications needs. Preference should be given to the horizontal version with the shield emblem. Limit the use of wordmark logos—versions without the shield—to situations where the design does not accommodate the shield and when the shield will be too small to discern details or print legibly.

The "Thayer School" logo variants are for more informal use, internal communications, or when appearing alongside other Dartmouth professional schools' logos.

The shield emblem is reserved for situations where space for branding is limited or where context allows for a more informal presentation.

The shield icon is reserved for digital branding when display options are limited to a small circle, square or other shape. An example of appropriate use is customizing software iconography, avatars, and other digital brand identity needs.
