Rm 201, MacLean ESC (Rett's Rm)
Navigating the tough decisions about graduate school can be a formidable task to take on alone. Luckily, your peers are here to help. Hear from current graduate students, recent grads, and faculty about how the graduate application process works and learn what opportunities are out there for you.
This structured panel discussion will cover the most common questions about graduate study in STEM fields, such as…When do you apply? Do you have to pay for graduate study? How long are the programs? How do you choose an advisor? MS vs. PhD? What qualifications do you need? Can you switch to a different field in graduate study?
We will address all of these questions as your peers share how they made their decisions and reflect on their experience in grad school. DINNER PROVIDED!
Hosted by Prof. Will Scheideler and Thayer Career Services.
