About DIAD
DIAD was formed in 2022 to combine engineering and the liberal arts with the methods and mindsets of design thinking to empower creative, collaborative, ethical innovators to imagine and forge better futures. DIAD supports experiential learning in design, interdisciplinary collaborations, and applied research with significant potential for societal benefits. The successful candidate will leverage DIAD’s early momentum by expanding the initiative into a thriving presence on the Dartmouth campus demonstrating leadership in design education and catalyzing globally relevant societal impacts.

Located in Hanover, New Hampshire, Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth was founded in 1867 as one of the first schools of engineering in the United States.
