ENGG 499 - Smart Sensors
Description
Design methodologies of mobile sensors and systems will be discussed. Topics considered will include practical design considerations such as power budgeting, motion artifact and low power design. The student will design, analyze, and test mixed hardware and software systems during weekly labs. These labs will require the student to write embedded code, perform analog and digital circuit simulations, build mixed signal systems and make benchtop measurements. The labs will build on each other and culminate in a single stand-alone electronic mobile system.Prerequisites
ENGG 415, ENGG 419, ENGG 462, ENGG 463. ENGG 417 and ENGG 418 must either be taken before ENGG 499 or concurrently.Notes
