Resources for Employers

Thank you for your interest in the Thayer School of Engineering! We appreciate your organization’s efforts to connect with our students and alumni. We offer a number of ways for you to recruit our students and alumni:

Participate in a Career Fair
Whether virtual or live, our Career Fairs bring together students and employers to increase engagement and to explore career opportunities. Our on-site fair is in the fall, and the virtual fairs take place in the winter and spring.

Company Information Sessions
Come to Thayer and educate our students about your company culture, open/future opportunities, and your recruiting efforts. Please contact us at 603-646-2375 or by email to schedule your session.

Post Jobs and Internships
Create accounts in Thayerlink and engIN to post job and internship opportunities. engIN, the engineering internship network, gives you access to exceptional students from Dartmouth, Lafayette, Smith, Swarthmore, Tufts, Union College and Olin College.

On-Campus Interviews
Whether you travel to Hanover (
directions and accommodations) in person or use Skype, this is the best way to connect with a number of talented candidates in one day. We make the whole process easy through our online recruiting system.

Resume Books
Online access to the resumes of current students and recent graduates seeking internships or full-time positions is available in
ThayerLink. We can also create a custom resume book to suit your needs.

Additional Opportunities to Engage with Our Students
From sponsoring student design projects to serving as a guest expert for our panels and workshops, we are delighted to help you meet and get to know our students in both formal and informal environments.

Job Offer Response Time
Employers must give students at least three weeks to decide whether or not to accept a full-time job offer, and at least one week to decide on an internship offer.
