Who is eligible?
Non-Dartmouth science and engineering majors enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program are eligible to apply, including students who will graduate in 2025.
Students from non-research-oriented institutions, historically underserved students in science and engineering, as well as first-generation college students, are encouraged to apply.
Minimal Cost for Participants
Majority of the program's costs are covered by Dartmouth, including:
- Eight weeks of hands-on laboratory research experience in engineering
- Housing at Dartmouth
- Social gatherings and networking opportunities
- Faculty mentoring and professional development
What costs are not covered?
Students are responsible for their own airfare and travel expenses, stipends, and health insurance.
We strongly encourage students to obtain the financial support of their current institution for expenses not covered by the program.
