Other Dartmouth Major Modified w/Engineering Sciences

Any major may be modified with engineering sciences, with necessary approvals. A major modified with engineering sciences consists of 10 courses (6 from the major and 4 from engineering sciences), and should be planned as a unified, coherent whole, and not consist of a series of unrelated courses.

Prerequisite Courses

Students should note that many engineering sciences courses have prerequisites in addition to those noted.

Unless otherwise prohibited, prerequisites may be taken under the non-recording option. Any course being used to satisfy major or minor requirements beyond the prerequisites, may not be taken under the non-recording option.

Required Courses

No electives nor ENGS courses numbered 20 or above may be taken under the non-recording option.

* Some engineering sciences courses may require other prerequisite courses, in addition to the courses required for the major.
