Other Dartmouth Major Modified w/ Engineering Sciences

Any major may be modified with engineering sciences, with necessary approvals. A major modified with engineering sciences consists of 10 courses (6 from the major and 4 from engineering sciences), and should be planned as a unified, coherent whole, and not consist of a series of unrelated courses.

Unless otherwise prohibited, prerequisites may be taken under the non-recording option.

No electives and ENGS courses numbered 20 or above may be taken under the non-recording option.

Any three engineering sciences course numbered above ENGS 20, excluding ENGS 80 and ENGS 87, coherent with the student's major and approved, upon petition, by the Chair of the Department of Engineering Sciences.

* Some engineering sciences courses may require other prerequisite courses, in addition to the courses required for the major.
