Inter-University Product Hackathon Winners
May 12, 2026
Two teams of MEM students won both first and second place in this year's Inter-University Product Hackathon hosted by the Johns Hopkins Product Management Club. The hackathon challenge was to explore how AI could enable inclusive learning at scale. The winning team—Sharon Sajimakil, Ovee Ashwin Jawadekar, Prajwal Prasad, Shriya Desai, and Harshul Chandrashekar—developed "SyllaBit," an adaptive learning platform designed for university students with ADHD.
"The strong sense of community at Dartmouth inspired us to view AI not just as a technical advancement, but as a meaningful tool for building more inclusive and accessible educational experiences for students. Overall, we had an amazing experience and truly valued the opportunity to work on a problem with meaningful social impact,"
Prajwal Prasad
