Mar 24:
1:00pm - 4:00pm ET
Mar 25:
1:00pm - 4:00pm ET
Feldberg Library Conference Room
Join Feldberg Library and The Writing Center to learn strategies to help you complete a STEM writing project. This free program is aimed at graduate-level writing, but all are welcome.
Writing projects could include a thesis or dissertation, journal or popular science article, book proposal, etc.
Students are asked to bring a writing sample, something in the range of 5 or more pages, with comments from their supervising faculty member or an editor (in the case of an academic article).
The goal of this writing retreat is to help you develop and apply writing strategies (including freewriting, concept mapping, and self-editing), communication strategies, and time management strategies.
