Please join us for two special research seminars:
- 10:30–11:15am, Dr. Kang on "Printed bioelectronic sensors"
- 11:15am–12:00noon, Dr. Chung on "Omnidirectional printing of elastic conductors for three-dimensional stretchable electronics"
We welcome any Thayer students, staff, and faculty to attend with a small lunch to follow.

Hongki Kang
Professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, DGIST
Hongki Kang is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST) in South Korea. He has worked on semiconductor devices (eg transistors, sensors), microfabrication processes and additive manufacturing (eg printing), and bioelectronics and neural engineering (brain-microelectronics interface, neuromodulation).
Seungjun Chung
Principal Research Scientist, KIST
Seungjun Chung is a principal research scientist in the Soft Hybrids Materials Research Center at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). His group focuses on the development of advanced flexible electronics and energy harvesting/storage devices based on additive manufacturing.
