10:00am - 11:00am ET
Rm 116, ECSC
Join us for tea while we listen to "Our Appointment with Life" by Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay). In this talk, Thay explains how mindfulness allows us to be aware of the feelings and perceptions in our mind, in our body, around us, and in the world. Through this awareness, we can experience the wonders of life in the here and now.
Please bring your own mug and a friend with a mug. We will provide hot water, a variety of teas, sugar, and milk.
Brought to you by the Thayer Wellness Committee and hosted by Professors Sol Diamond and Mark Laser. Recording from the Plum Village—Lower Hamlet Buddhist temple in Loubès-Bernac, France for its summer opening on July 6, 2014.
