The Board of Advisors is comprised of alumni and friends of Thayer, including the President of Dartmouth, the Provost of Dartmouth, a Trustee of Dartmouth, and Thayer's Dean.

The Board gathers three times per year and typically begins with dinner on Thursday evening and concludes at noon on Saturday.
