Rick Greenwald and Simbex Receive NH Business Excellence Award
Nov 07, 2018 | Simbex
Dartmouth engineering professor Rick Greenwald was among 16 recipients honored at NH Business Review's annual award reception.
Simbex today announced that CEO/President and Co-founder Rick Greenwald was awarded the 2018 Business Excellence Award in Technology for small organizations from NH Business Review. The annual awards honor top business leaders in New Hampshire for their industriousness, innovation and imagination. The annual Business Excellence Awards ceremony, honoring all recipients, was held on Thursday, November 1 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown.
Dr. Greenwald was selected for developing impactful medical device and consumer health products, for fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, for embracing work-life balance and the culture of the New Hampshire workforce, and for establishing a premier medical device commercialization center for rehabilitation and assistive technology.
Upon accepting the award, Dr. Greenwald shared that, “the goal of Simbex has always been to bring novel medical devices and consumer technologies to the market, products that get used to keep people healthy and moving, from babies to older adults. We believe we are making an important difference, and that motivates me, and our staff, every day. Awards like this one tonight make that story just a little bit sweeter.”
NH Business Review launched the Business Excellence Awards in 2002 to recognize New Hampshire’s business leaders who work tirelessly to cultivate and grow the local and statewide economy.
“We’re proud to honor this year’s impressive list of Business Excellence Awards recipients, all of whom play a significant role in the overall success of New Hampshire’s economy,” said Jeff Feingold, editor of NH Business Review.
