The Dartmouth MEM program represents a unique opportunity to merge my passions for data and science with my desire to enhance the communities around me. Its flexibility and dual focus on engineering and management—highlighted in courses like Data Analytics, Optimisation Methods, and Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship —equip me with skills essential for making impactful and insightful contributions in any organisation. Moreover, these skills will be invaluable when I eventually launch my own venture. The program's smaller class sizes, which were crucial to my success during my undergraduate studies, offer the chance to build deeper, more meaningful relationships with peers and professors. This supportive environment will better position me for future success by ensuring I have the right support system, mentorship and guidance.

This program aligns with my interests stemming from my minor, Human-Centered Design, in an attempt to pursue more strategy positions that intersect with technology. I find myself fitting in more of a facilitator role on project based work, as well, so this program was a clear chance to strengthen those capabilities.
