Kendall Farnham

Overview

Kendall Farnham is an assistant professor specializing in electrical and computer engineering with expertise in hardware design, embedded programming, signal processing, and low-power devices. Her PhD focused on developing an impedance-based biomedical imaging device on an FPGA for use in deep space, and she continues to work with NASA and Professor Ryan Halter on translating this device for commercial use. Her teaching interests span both online and in-person learning environments, with a goal to develop engaging and approachable courses to help expand engineering education to a broader audience. She is currently developing two master's courses (Advanced FPGAs / Machine Vision) for Dartmouth's online Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering program.
