Sproxil Inc., which provides anti-counterfeiting technology for use with mobile phones and targeted at emerging markets, has completed a $1.79 million equity offering, raising the amount from a single investor, an SEC filing shows.

CEO Ashifi Gogo and CFO Alden Zecha are both named in the filing.

Gogo, who is Dartmouth's first-ever PhD Innovation Fellow, previously co-founded VSOL, a VoIP company that provides telephone services to the administration of a 24,000-student university in Ghana.
