New Overseers

Catherine Sellman ’93 has joined Thayer’s Board of Overseers. She is founder and portfolio manager of Aperimus Capital in Marina Del Rey, Calif. After a career in environmental engineering, she began her investment career in 2000 at Barrington Partners in Santa Monica, Calif. In 2005 she joined Atlas Capital, based in Dallas, Tex. She founded Aperimus in 2008. She holds an AB in engineering sciences from Dartmouth and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, where she guest lectures on finance and accounting.

Andrew K. Silvernail ’94 has joined Thayer’s Board of Overseers. He is chairman and CFO of IDEX Corp. Previously he held senior leadership roles at Rexnord Industries, Newell Rubbermaid and Danaher Corp. He began his career as an equity research associate for Fidelity Investments. He is a director of Stryker Corp. and MacLean-Fogg Co. and a trustee for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation. He holds an AB in government from Dartmouth and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
