Plenty is an indoor farming company transforming produce from a bland commodity to a delicious movement. Plenty combines cutting edge technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence with proven plant science to optimize a reliable, year-round growing environment for fresh, flavorful, and nutritious produce. The company is building a network of farms near major cities around the world to localize food production and shave thousands of miles and weeks off the journey from field to home. Plenty's vertical farming systems require a small fraction of the water and land of conventional agriculture, and use zero GMOs, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. Headquartered in South San Francisco, CA, Plenty is backed by investors such as the SoftBank Vision Fund, Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors, and Jeff Bezos' Bezos Expeditions.
