2019 Investiture

Thayer School of Engineering's 2019 Investiture ceremony took place Saturday, June 8th. The speaker was astrophysicist and NSF Director France Córdova. Thayer School Investiture is part of Dartmouth's Commencement Program. Dartmouth's ceremony took place Sunday, June 9th. The speaker was cellist and 19-time Grammy award winner Yo-Yo Ma.

Thayer School awarded 203 degrees including 116 Bachelor of Engineering (29 of them AB/BEs), 59 Master of Engineering Management, 6 Master of Science (Engineering Sciences), and 22 Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering Sciences).

In addition, on Sunday, Dartmouth awarded AB degrees to 116 Engineering Sciences majors—the second largest number in Dartmouth history. (The most popular majors for the Class of 2019 were economics, government, engineering sciences, computer science, psychology, biology, and history.)
