Dear Thayer community,
I am happy to confirm that earlier today, the Provost announced that the additional restrictions put in place to contain COVID-19 on campus have been eased. Thank you to everyone for your efforts in reducing the spread. We acknowledge and understand that the extra restrictions were an additional burden at an already stressful time near the end of term, so please rest assured that we truly and sincerely appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the health and safety of everyone in our community.
In accordance with Dartmouth’s decision, restrictions announced at the end of February for the Thayer community have been lifted, meaning all students currently approved to be on campus, including undergraduates and BE candidates, can access our facilities, including project spaces, to continue academic project work. Work in research labs and onsite TA assignments can also resume, pending permission from your supervisor or PI. Don’t forget to complete your daily TSA before you enter our buildings, wear your face covering, maintain social distancing, and follow all safety protocols while in the building.
While it is a joy to announce the lifting of these additional restrictions on campus, it is important to note that you must continue, as always, to take all necessary precautions to prioritize the health and safety of ourselves and our community. Thank you for your continued understanding, flexibility, and support of each other.
