Research Projects

About the Lab

I am a PhD graduate of the "Brain Group Research Group @ Dartmouth" under the mentorship of David W. Roberts, MD, and Keith D. Paulsen, PhD. I then pursued a one year post-doctoral fellowship in 2011-2012 before returning to finish up my core clinical clerkships as part of the MD training (and part of the MD-PhD program in general). I am in my 4th year of MD training and plan to continue on to a neurosurgery residency program in 2014.

The main goal of our group is to study and develop both diagnostic and therapeutic tools for brain cancers.

Fluorescence Brain Project

Our research group, which we refer to as the "Brain Research Group @ Dartmouth," is a collaboration of several researchers-clinicians, engineers, scientists, and computer programmers. The "Brain Group" is currently working on a project using intraoperative fluorescence and neuronavigation to aid the neurosurgeon in the resection of malignant gliomas.
