1) An OUTLINE (click here for sample outline) with the major points you wish to discuss in your paper. As the name explicitly says, this is an OUTLINE. Organize your outline into the main points (i.e., topics and subtopics you wish to address with a sentence or two explaining the main point). DO NOT write paragraphs and paragraphs in your outline; it is only an OUTLINE.

2) A FINAL DRAFT (click here for sample final draft). This should be written in APA style. You can do a quick google search and find more than one reliable place that will tell you what the APA style entails, e.g., paper formatting, reference citation, etc. This will be a complete detailed RESEARCH paper where you will seek to substantiate your views/points with reasonable arguments and reliable sources.

I will be available throughout the term to help you on this and other assignments. Please don't hesitate to EMAIL me or SEE ME DURING OFFICE HOURS. From previous experiences, students have found that working one on one during office hours has been significantly more beneficial than via email alone.
