This funeral cover was sent from the Military Post following the Belgian Army in the field, then in the Somme region of France, to Scheveningen in The Netherlands on 6 February 1918. It underwent military censure. Of notice also is the wax seal on the reverse, accompanied by a burn mark, presumably caused by the candle used in melting the wax for the seal.
