This postcard was sent probably from Arlon to Auxerre in France. The cancel is the generic "BELGIQUE" used in the period immediately following the war, after the destruction of German cancels and before new cancels were issued. The date on such cancel is incomplete, but one can deduce that the card was mailed in late 1918 or early 1919. There is no cancel of arrival but there is little doubt that the postcard made the trip to its destination. The picture shows official buildings Arlon.
