This cover was sent from Sainte-Adresse, in France where the Belgian government was on exile, to a soldier of the Belgian Army stationed in Gravelines, on 22 January 1918, just one week after the stamps had been issued. The letter arrived 2 days later. It is rare to find covers for which the army was the destination.
