From Sainte-Adresse in 1918



This postcard was sent from the temporary post office in Sainte-Adresse (France) on 17 January 1918, two days after the Red-Cross stamp series had been issued. The picture depicts a heroic act during which a cavalryman came to the rescue of his wounded officer.
