The George A. Colligan Memorial Prize

Awarded to an undergraduate in recognition of outstanding performance in materials science, with preference for a senior Engineering Sciences major.

The Dartmouth Society of Engineers Prize

Recognizes outstanding performance in an engineering project by a Bachelor of Engineering candidate.

The Charles F. and Ruth D. Goodrich Prize

Presented annually in recognition of outstanding achievement with special emphasis on academic achievement.

The Phillip R. Jackson Engineering Sciences Prize

Awarded each term in recognition of outstanding performance in Introduction to Engineering (ENGS 21) by a student or group of students.

The Richard W. Olmsted 1932 (Thayer 1933) Prize

Awarded annually to a Dartmouth senior majoring in Engineering Sciences to recognize outstanding performance in the major.

The Special Faculty Award for Engineering and Service to Humanity

Awarded annually to recognize a student or a team of students in any degree program for exemplary achievement related to the application of engineering in service to society.

The Thayer School of Engineering Corporate Collaboration Council Engineering Design Prize

Recognizes the group with the best overall performance in the course sequence in engineering design methodology and project completion (ENGS 190/290).

The Thayer School Dean's Service Award

Awarded annually to a Thayer School student (B.E., M.E.M., M.S., or Ph.D.) who has made an exceptional contribution to Thayer School, Dartmouth College, or the broader world.

The Thayer School Faculty Award for Academic Excellence

Recognizes the student who has obtained the highest academic record in coursework required for the Bachelor of Engineering degree.

The Brieanna S. Weinstein Engineering Design Prize

Established in memory of Brieanna S. Weinstein, daughter of James and Mimi Weinstein, to recognize a student or student team for demonstrating outstanding design skill in developing or creating new technologies, systems, or adaptive devices to address the needs and challenges of people (particularly children or adolescents) with physical or developmental disabilities.

The John C. Woodhouse Engineering Design Prize

Awarded annually to a Thayer School student who has shown innovation and ingenuity in developing the most inexpensive but effective experimental research equipment.

The John C. Woodhouse Environmental Engineering Prize

Awarded annually to a student in recognition of outstanding work in the field of environmental study or research at Thayer School.

The John C. Woodhouse Prize for Distinguished Teaching in Engineering Sciences

Recognizes outstanding undergraduate teaching in the Engineering Sciences.
