2007-2008 Annual Fund
Final Total: $918,963
The 2008 Thayer School Annual Fund has been the most successful annual fund in Thayer School's history!
When the books finally closed, Thayer School raised $918,963, over 14% ahead of last year's total and 8% ahead of the goal of $850,000 set in October, 2008. In addition, 31% of Thayer alumni participated in this year's fund.
This new total sets the standard for the Thayer School Annual Fund. Mike Chapman '76 Th'77, Chair of the Annual Fund Executive Committee, stated, "This is a great result in a very difficult financial climate. Being able to grow the Annual Fund this year shows the tremendous commitment to Thayer School on the part of our alumni, friends, Annual Fund volunteers, and the Thayer Development Office."
The 2008-2009 Annual Fund began on July 1st, and we look forward to another successful year ahead.
The Fund
The Thayer School Annual Fund supports critical ongoing priorities at Thayer School, including student financial aid, program development, the hiring and retention of exceptional faculty, and provision of state-of-the-art computers and laboratory equipment.
Gifts may be made in a variety of ways, including our secure online giving form, by check, credit card, or securities. All gifts are tax-deductible.
Giving Societies
Thayer School is grateful for gifts at all levels and invites donors to become members of Thayer School Giving Societies.
Monthly Giving
Monthly giving offers a simple and convenient way to make monthly donations to Thayer School with your credit card. Many donors are able to make a larger gift than they originally thought possible.
