Dartmouth Society of Engineers (DSE)
An Association of Alumni and Friends of Thayer School
The Dartmouth Society of Engineers (DSE) is compromised of students, alumni, and friends of Thayer School. The DSE supports academic, professional, and social activities at the School and is divided into two chapters: the Parent Chapter (of alumni and friends of Thayer) and the Student Chapter (Thayer School engineering students and engineering sciences majors).
Founded in 1902, the DSE's objectives are to:
- Bring together alumni with common interests
- Strengthen the ties between Thayer School and its members
- Promote interchange of ideas between graduates and faculty
- Aid in making the Student Chapter an active and purposeful organization
- Pursue a tradition of support and service to Thayer School through a variety of educational and social activities
