Thayer School Annual Fund
The Thayer School Annual Fund supports critical ongoing priorities at Thayer School, including student financial aid, program development, the hiring and retention of exceptional faculty, and provision of state-of-the-art computers and laboratory equipment.
Matching Challenge Initiative
The Thayer School Board of Overseers has provided an incentive for new donors to give to the Thayer School Annual Fund. In light of the current economic environment, the board recognizes how difficult it may be to consider Thayer School a philanthropic priority, which is why they encourage all alumni to participate in the annual fund and will make those gifts have a larger impact on the school.
Parameters
All gifts from donors who did not give in FY2008 will be eligible for the match. Gifts will be matched 1:1, and 2:1 for alumni within 10 years of graduation.
Examples:
- John Smith Th'72 donates $100; Thayer will receive an additional $100 from the board for a total of $200 for the Thayer School Annual Fund.
- Jane Wheelock Th'08 donates $100; Thayer will receive an additional $200 from the board, for a total of $300 for the Thayer School Annual Fund.
