Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth continues to rank among the nation's top 50 engineering schools, according to the latest ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

Thayer School placed 48th among the 198 American engineering schools that offer doctoral degrees. The rankings are based on a combination of surveys of engineering school deans and corporate recruiters and other factors such as student selectivity, research funding, number of doctoral degrees granted, research activity, and enrollments.

Dedicated to solving global challenges, Thayer School facilitates learning and research at the intersection of disciplines, where innovation thrives. Undergraduates study engineering sciences as part of a broad liberal arts education; additional courses lead to the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree. Graduate programs include the Master of Engineering Management (M.E.M.), M.S., Ph.D., dual degrees with Dartmouth Medical School, and the nation's first Ph.D. Innovation Program.
