Summer Program for information about the 2008
REU Program.
The Center for
Nanomaterials Research at Dartmouth, CNR@D, is an interdisciplinary
grouping of
faculty and
students studying the processing and properties of materials.
Research focuses on nanoparticles, and nanocrystalline and
nanocomposite materials both in the form of thin films and as bulk
materials, with a substantial emphasis on magnetic materials. CNR@D
fosters close collaborations between experimentalists and
theoreticians from different disciplines and departments.

CNR@D offers
graduate fellowships, an undergraduate
minor in materials and an undergraduate
college course in nanomaterials. CNR@D also hosts a National
Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)
summer program, which is open to any U.S. citizen or permanent
resident undergraduate with the appropriate science background.
Undergraduate research assistantships are also available with
various faculty associated with CNR@D throughout the year. Each
Fall, CNR@D sponsors a
one-day symposium at Dartmouth on nanomaterials consisting of
six internationally-recognized invited speakers. If you are

Cancer Nanotechnology at Dartmouth website.
