Presented by Thayer School of Engineering
and the Cook Engineering Design Center
Friday, March 5, 2004
The purpose of this event is to provide a forum for technology vendors,
users, and educators to collaborate on effective strategies for technology
implementation. It's not enough to BUY technology solutions. Users have to
IMPLEMENT the new methods in their own workplaces. Schools and colleges
can play a valuable role implementing new technologies in the workplace.
This seminar brings users, vendors, and students together to develop
strategies for implementing new technologies in the workplace.
This multi-speaker event brings together experts in rapid prototyping,
reverse engineering, high velocity machining, solid modeling, and
more. Student presenters will share their experience in deploying
these technologies to advance their project work. Educators will explain
how students can help professionals put technology solutions to work on the shop floor.
