Formech 660 Thermoformer

The machine shop polymer processing facility is equipped with a Formech 660 thermoforming machine. The thermoforming process is useful for creating shapes in a wide variety of thermo-plastics. Molds can be CNC machined from aluminum, wood, urethane, or other convenient materials, or they can be cast in plaster using a sample part as the pattern.
