Welcome to the Student Chapter of IEEE at Dartmouth!

Mad Scientist talks about Entrepreneurship: The Innovation and The Spirit at Feb. 16th 5:00pm onwards in Spanos Auditorium

As students move a step closer towards a professional environment, everyone aims to be successful and do something special and different. Entering new businesses, everyone thinks of how businessmen and venture capitalists perceive new innovations. Young professionals and entrepreneurs try to follow the tweets of Richard Branson, Larry Page, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and the sorts.

Only few think about the science that stirs the innovation that drives entrepreneurs. Have you ever thought of how a scientist perceives entrepreneurship? That too, a mad one?

Come listen to IBM Fellow, Chief Scientist of Design Automation and TEDx Speaker John Cohn thoughts on key industry drivers like the process of innovation, disruption and restless re-invention. His crazy approaches have earned him the title Mad Scientist, so join in with an open mind to experience a totally new take on entrepreneurship with one who believes eating rats on reality TV to be a part of innovation. Don't miss out on this crazy talk! Looking forward to seeing you on Monday, 5 PM.

Fall Study Break hosted by IEEE at Nov. 17th 5:00pm onwards in Glycofi Atrium
