Nov 10: MICROSOFT TECH TALK

IEEE is co-hosted a tech talk with Microsoft on Thu, Nov 10. 6:30 pm in Maclean B01. Students had the opportunity opportunity to hear directly from their Senior Software Developer Engineers in Test, talk about the cool technologies at Microsoft.

Oct 11: MATHEMATICA SEMINAR

IEEE is co-hosted two talks titled 'Introduction to Mathematica 8' and 'Mathematica 8 in Engineering Education'.
When: Tue, Oct 11. 10-11 am and 11 am-noon.

Oct 05: GENERAL MEETING + ELECTIONS

Join us as we hold our first IEEE General Meeting of the academic year.
When: Wed, Oct 5th, 5-6pm

April 4: MATLAB SEMINAR

Join MathWorks for a free seminar on Mathematical Modelling on MATLAB. Find registration and other details here or in the poster. This event is sponsored by IEEE Student Chapter and Dartmouth Computing.

March 10: IEEE STUDY BREAK + FREE FOOD

After a successful first event, IEEE organized it's second study break in Winter 2011.

What: Chinese food and IEEE freebies!

IEEE organized a study break with lots of free food - dinner from Oriental, snacks and candies, and IEEE free giveaways.

October 5: GENERAL MEETING + ELECTIONS

The Dartmouth IEEE Student Chapter held its first General Meeting of the new academic year on Tuesday, Oct 5th. We had a guest speaker from the EPR Centre at Dartmouth. Elections for the President and the Treasurer position for this year took place on this day. Click here for more details.

When: 4:15 PM

August 10: MATHWORKS DAY SEMINAR

The Dartmouth IEEE Student Chapter and Dartmouth Research Computing arranged for MathWorks to conduct a free MATLAB seminar. The seminar consisted of two parts, the first of which focused on Computational Statistics. The second demo focused on data reduction using lookup tables.

When: 1-2:30 pm
