Adjunct Professor of Engineering
Co-Founder, Principal Acoustical Engineer, Sound Innovations, Inc.

We regret to inform that Professor Robert ("Bob") Collier died on August 14th, 2009 at his home in Lebanon, NH after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 85.

A memorial service was held on September 12, 2009 at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory might be made to any person or any charity that needs a helping hand.

Acoustics; noise and vibration control; hearing protection and communication; musical acoustics; dynamics of composite materials and structures; underwater acoustics and sonar; environmental engineering
