Adam Geibel

Adam Geibel is a military journalist whose works have been published in such journals as Armor, African Armed Forces Journal, Infantry, and Small Arms Review, as well as a correspondent for the Journal Of Military Ordnance . He has also written war-gaming scenarios for Game Designer's Workshop and Critical Hit, Inc.

Geibel is developing references works on several recent global conflicts; the First and Second Chechen Wars, the Congo-Brazzaville Civil War, the Civil War in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the 1998-2000 Ethiopia-Eritrea Border War, the Guinea-Bissau Civil War and South Africa's intervention in Lesotho. Occasionally, his writing covers Biowar issues ( The Battle of Wau ) .

He has also written on such currently "hot" topics as Information Warfare, Command Detonated Mines, heavy sniper/countersniper rifles and MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain).

Adam Geibel is an Army National Guard Captain and currently serving with the 5/117 Cavalry Squadron, 42 ID (NJARNG).
