Conference Registration- Registration feeThe conference registration fee is $350 (US Dollars). The fee will cover conference attendance, meals and accommodations, provided you opt to stay in Dartmouth's dormitories. The fee will be the same if you chose to arrange for other accommodations. Please mail your check to: EIT Conference 2008 / C/O Roxanne Campagna / Dartmouth College HB8000 / Hanover NH 03755 / USA Make sure to indicate the names of the participants covered by the check. Dartmouth College makes available its athletic facilities for $5/day and if you wish to park a car on campus, there will be a fee of $3/day. If you wish to use these amenities, please add the amounts to your checks and indicate this in your registration letter. - Methods of paymentOur preferred method of payment will be by check payable in US currency to "Dartmouth College." Visitors from abroad can write checks from foreign banks to be paid in US Dollars or use bank checks in USD. - Registration fee waivers and travel supportWe will be able to support a limited number of participants' registration and travel expenses. If you wish to be considered for support, please email us and explain your situation. We will give preference to students but others are invited to apply as well. Award decisions will be made in May, shortly after the registration deadline. TravelDartmouth College is located in Hanover, New Hampshire, approximately 130 miles (210 km) North of Boston. - Air TravelLogan Airport in Boston is probably the most convenient airport for attendees traveling internationally and for North American attendees coming from outside of New England. The airport is connected to Hanover by the Dartmouth Coach, which leaves the airport every two hours during day time hours (see schedule and fares here) and stops at the Hanover Inn. There are also two passenger flights a day into Lebanon NH, which is located 6 miles from Dartmouth. - Driving DirectionsFrom Boston: (130 miles, 210 km / 2.5 hours) take I-93 heading North. Continue on I-93 for roughly 60 miles (do not take the I-293 branch near Manchester). After the Hooksett toll booth you will reach I-89. Take I-89 North, after 56 miles you will reach Exit 18, in Lebanon, NH. Turn right and follow directions for Hanover (6 miles). - Useful LinksAccommodationAccommodations will be available to all participants in brand new College dorms. Most of the rooms will be double occupancy and some will be single occupancy. Please note that our conference will take place shortly after Dartmouth Graduation. This is the peak of the tourist season and so we recommend that you make your reservations early if you wish to stay at a hotel in the area.
