The Shield as Stand-Alone Identifier
The shield may be used as a stand-alone identity element. This usage should be limited to very personal contexts and when the medium in which it appears does not support the use of text.
For example, the shield may be represented on jewelry (i.e., cufflinks and pins), on the clip of a writing pen, or as the repeated pattern on a scarf or neck tie. It could also be used in printed form, for example, to mark the ending of an article in the magazine, or as a design element on a web page.
Note: The shield should be represented in one color only. (We request that you do not use multiple colors for the different elements within the shield.)
