Requirements for admission:

Students admitted with deficiencies must complete required undergraduate engineering courses. Students who need more than three courses will enroll initially as a special student. Students with insufficient engineering background may want to apply to the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) program.
Admission to the M.E.M./M.B.A. is through Thayer School and Tuck School of Business. Joint-degree students must meet the admissions requirements of both schools and should plan to complete the first-year M.B.A. curriculum before beginning the M.E.M. program.
Admission to the M.D./Ph.D. program in Biomedical Engineering is through Thayer School and Dartmouth Medical School (DMS). Joint-degree students are expected to meet the admissions requirements of both schools.
Part-time studies are available for residents of the Upper Valley who can meet the requirements for admission. Special and part-time students are ineligible for Thayer School financial aid.
Information and advice on applying to graduate school is available through Thayer School Career Services as well as Dartmouth Career Services.
